My Story

Here in Texas, we have these little things called Bluebonnets.  When I started having babies, I joined in the timeless tradition of taking pictures of my kids in those heavenly fields of blue. Each year, my interest in photography grew and, eventually, my hobby turned into a passionate career.

I started taking photos professionally in 2022 simply because I love taking pictures of families. I love teeny-tiny babies, giggly kiddos, older kids who are starting to look more like their own individual people, and their doting parents who love them so.

I specialize in lifestyle, or storytelling, sessions because I believe that the most authentic moments are ones that aren't forced and structured. Of course, we always get the whole group smiling "framer", but my sessions are so much more than that. They're FUN!

Someone wiser than me noticed that moms are often left out of pictures (because they're the ones taking them) and started the hashtag #proofofmom; I just love the sentiment behind it. In fact, making proof of mom is why I do what I do. What makes me love my job is knowing that I’m giving families #proofofmom. Beautiful, confident MOMS!

Let's team up and create lasting memories of your precious family. They'll thank you for generations to come.

Session Requirements

GENUINE

This one starts in our pre-session planning. We'll pick a location that fits your personality, and I'll help style you with outfits that make you feel confident.

Part of my process is to get to know you before we meet so I can create a finely-tuned session plan that works best for you or your family's needs.

This includes strategically-timed group shots,  "breathing-room" breaks, and accommodations for those who may need extra time and space.

The more I get to know you, the easier I can set us up for day-of success.

RELAXED

Chances are that your family's favorite pastime isn't sitting close together for long periods of time and saying "cheese" over and over again. If that's not you, why would you do that for your family photos?

During our session, one question you'll hear me ask you a lot is "Does this feel like you, or does it feel awkward?"

I'm really not in the business of forcing smiles. Instead, I try to build my sessions around families doing something they love to do.

If your littles just aren't having it, we'll move on. If your husband is the stoic type, stoic he will be. It really is that simple. And perfect.

FUN

Funny people are my people. And if parenting two crazy kids has taught me anything, it's that a wild-card is a wild-card is a wild-card, and wild-cards tend to be very funny. Therefore, they are my people. Do you see where I'm going with this?

Here are the facts: 20 years from now, you'll cherish the image of your little wild-card being silly and passing out excessively big hugs to the whole family.

So we'll play duck-duck-goose, have show-and-tell about a favorite toy or book, and maybe literally stop and smell the flowers.
My point is this: I want you to frame memories, not just pictures.

Bribe
Policy

Photography is very serious business. And I'm very serious when I say children take you very, very seriously when sprinkles are involved. If you're okay with it, I offer teeny tiny rainbow sprinkles because they check all the boxes: not too much sugar or sticky, not too big to choke on, and everyone loves to pick their fav color.
